The municipality of Oberhofen am Thunersee is located in the Bernese Oberland in front of the Alpine massif. Elementary school and kindergarten, various stores and shopping facilities, restaurants and the indoor swimming pool enliven the village and make it very attractive for residents and tourists alike, in addition to the beautiful castle and other sights. Larger supermarkets are located in the neighboring village of Hilterfingen or in Thun.

In 10 – 15 minutes by car or public bus you can reach the nearest city Thun, which is itself on the European north-south train axis.

The top destination Interlaken in the famous Jungfrau Region can be reached within 25 minutes by car, the Swiss capital Bern in about 40 minutes by car.
